Election Results Live Blogging

Tue Nov 07, 2006 at 01:59:10 PM PDT

Well, it's nearly 4:30 am here and I'm finally throwing in the towell. I'll be back to update anything that needs to be updated later.

McNerney defeats Pombo (CA-11)

Loebsack defeats Leach (IA-02)

Democrats have now won enough seats to officially win the majority in the House of Representatives

Welcome to election night and the Election Day Live Blogging Mothership! From this diary, you will be able to access all the Election Day Live Blogging results threads. This project includes over 180 races, so hopefully all the races you are interested in are being covered. The links to the races are below the fold.

Please keep idle commenting to a minimum if you can. I don't want to overload the diary with comments before results even start coming in. If it gets to be too much (500 or 600) I may turn comments off. Thank you.

Live Blogging Election Results - MT-Sen and MT-AL

Fri Nov 03, 2006 at 08:05:00 PM PDT

FINAL UPDATE: Folks, I can't hang anymore. Apologies. i've been up since 5:30, and have worked really hard over the last two days. The field reporters are posting in the thread - and some I've not heard from. There are problems - but nothing I believe, at this point, to be alarmed with - with the machines. People are still in line in Gallatin County! and it is 11:37. It will be a long night. I will sleep well, but that's not to say I won't be checking very first thing in the morning. I believe Jon won, I'm sure of it. Use this link to check up to the minute (literally) results. http://sos.mt.gov/ELB/archives/2006/elections/general/ussenate/index.asp

Election Day Live Blogging: Indiana Congressional Races, Thread 2

Fri Nov 03, 2006 at 04:15:27 PM PDT

This is merely a placeholder diary in case I need to post an additional thread on Tuesday.  I will disable comments once this is posted.  However, I need to somehow type at least 300 words so I don't violate the very very important Daily Kos site rules.   So now I will vamp for a while.

As I mentioned in the open thread, I am not really surprised about the newest Hill Sodrel polls.   Sodrel is going fast and furious with the Hill voted for tax increased crap.   This one will go to the wire yet again

You'll be happy to know that this intrepid blogger is in that district however, and if I can get my wireless to work, I'll try to blog from Monroe County Democratic HQ....otherwise, it will just be my living room.  Either way, See ya then!  e
